Salt: Good Christian Taste?

Jesus asks us in Mark 9:49-50 and Matthew 5:13 to consider ourselves like salt. We need to be of good taste, otherwise we are useless.

Be of good taste to whom? What does this mean for our actions? What is Christian good taste? I'm not sure I agree with the literature out there on Christians being salt and light. It seems to be very culturally driven, instead of reflective of Jesus ministry.

I want to explore these ideas in this project.
