I believe when we create together our intellect will open to what our body has done. Making together, whether cooking, or engaging performance or visual art, is a unique and memorable approach to learning. It is a feast for the senses that shapes us.

CBRC is a framework which adopts and extends the logic and ethics of oral history “into the realm of visual creation, welcoming community members to create artworks depicting their experiences, memories, and present understandings.”* CBRC recognizes participants as experts over their own lives, which they draw on through making and dialogue.
